But an exhibition at the Swiss National Museum Zurich (Schweizerisches Nationalmuseum Zürich) from September 13, 2024 until January 19, 2025, entitled Colonial – Switzerland’s Global Entanglements, showed that Swiss citizens and companies were globally connected and entangled with colonies established by the seafaring European nations in Africa, the Americas and Asia.
